A Christmas Wish For You!!!!

I saw this on a fellow blogger's Pam Speidel's site and I thought it was fitting for this holiday season:

My Christmas Wish For You!!
My Christmas wish for you, my friend
Is not a simple one
For I wish you hope and joy and peace
Days filled with warmth and sun
I wish you love and friendship too
Throughout the coming year
Lots of laughter and happiness
To fill your world with cheer
May you count your blessings, one by one
And when totaled by the lot
May you find all you've been given
To be more than what you sought
May your journeys be short, your burdens light
May your spirit never grow old
May all your clouds have silver linings
And your rainbows pots of gold
I wish this all and so much more
May all your dreams come true
May you have a Merry Christmas friend
And a happy New Year, too! ~ unknown

I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!!!!

Flower Arrangement Fit For A Craft Room

Hello, I have not been on here for a while. I am sorry. Our whole house has been sick for weeks and we are finally getting back to normal around here. I think my mom had it the worst tho. Her face started to swell and has been for almost 2 weeks, yuck!!

I know my mom loves floweres, but real ones always don't last long. I found these flowers online awhile ago and decided to make her some and then she can have flowers all the time in the craft room.

I am also getting together "JoAnna's Jems", so be on the lookout for that.

I hope everyone is ready for a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. I can not wait.

See you all soon, thanks for stopping by.

ETA: I realized that I did not put the info on what I used. The paint can is the small one from PaperTrey Ink, the Ladybugs & Butterflies are also PaperTrey Ink and I put Crystal Effects (Stampin Up) over them to add shine. I hope this helps.

Gift sets all packaged up and ready to go!!!!!!

Oh my gosh, did you see the SOOOOO VERY cute purses the Nichole had made on her blog yesterday?

As soon as I saw them, I had to try and make them. Then I got the idea of putting those gift sets that I made as Christmas gifts inside them. They turned out soo cute and I am loving this idea of using the purses to put gifts inside.

And guess what, I have almost hit the 30,000 hit mark. WAY COOL!!!!! Which means, it is almost time for some wonderful "JoAnna's Jems".

Christmas Gifts

Hello everyone. I am so glad you all are not mad for leaving you hanging with just a small portion of the items!!

I completely forgot that I had a Choir performance last night, so it took me longer to get all this uploaded.

So on to with the post, LOL!!!! Here are Christmas gifts that I have made for 3 of my friends at school. I had a blast making these and I hope they like them as much as I do, hehehe!!! I guess it is a good thing that their initials are on them so I won't keep them :)

I made a notebook, post it note holder, magnet calender, beaded pen and a jumbo paper clip. The notebook and post it note holders, I found on Emily's site. The calenders I found on Lorie's site. THANK YOU for your wonderful ideas. I love them, and I am sure my friends will also. The only thing I might add, is a coaster pen holder. My mom has WAY to many coasters, so I just night have to make them match all the rest of the goodies!!!!

I hope you all enjoyed this post. I actually sat down and went to work and got them done. I did not even ask the question, should I do it like this or that. I am telling you, this was the best and to complete something from start to finish without asking those questions, is a HUGE accomplishment and I am very proud, if I can say that about myself, LOL!!!!!

Have a good rest of your day and I will see you tomorrow.

Just a peak........

...........of what I have been working so hard on. I am SOOOOO Sorry, but the rest of the picture and info has to wait until I get home from school today. They were not exactly how I wanted, so I finally figured put what they needed and will do that after school and then show you the completed projects. I hope you everyone does not get mad at me for posting part of the picture :(

I hope you all will like them, I have been working very hard on these and completed them without any input from anyone around the house, so I am very proud of that :)

I will see you all back here VERY soon......

Christmas Gift Tags

My mom needed Christmas Tags for the presents and when she was done, she did not have enough so she asked me to make her some more. We got the idea from Nichole Heady from PaperTrey.

I used the mega and giga scalloped square punches. On the white square I stamped dots from PaperTrey's Borders & Corners. The ornaments and sentiment are from Take a Bough. On the larger ornament I used a Making Memories Page Pebbles and the smaller, I put crystal effects (Stampin Up) to add dimension.

I really like how they turned out. I am actually very proud of the end result.

I tried up upload the tutorial that I promised you, but for some reason some of the pictures are not uploading into Blogger. I will work on it more later or see if my mom can figure it out. I hope to have it up by this evening.

Don't forget, if you want to be added to my RAK book, please email me.

My mom and I have been playing around with her new bind-it-all. I LOVE journals to write in so I wanted to make another one :)

All the cardstock and stamps are from Stampin Up, the designer paper is DCWV, ribbon, I think came from Michaels, and 2 Primas.

I have a new card to show you tomorrow that I made for a Sketch Challenge!!

Blogging RAK Book

Hello everyone!!! I hope everyones week is starting out good :)

I have been playing with the Bind It All after I finished all the homework. I have many projects to share with you over the next few days.

I wanted to show you what I did with the mini books my mom made me. I wrapped green ribbon around the middle of the book and used the 2 biggest scalloped circle punches for the center. The circles are adhered using dimensionals. For a little extra I tied a bow and glued it to the top of the circles using crystal effects.

Now for the good part.... I decided(after talking to my mom of course) to keep a book of names to RAK each month. If you would like to be apart of this please email me you name, address, and blog address, if you have one.

I have really enjoyed doing things for many people and I would like to spread that to everyone that has supported me thru this adventure and helping to make this experience the best ever!!!!!

Thank you to all of you that come and visit me, you really have helped me grow in this blogging world :)

NOTE: I have a new email address. You can click the link on the sidebar for the new one.

New Toy......

a Bind It All!!!!! My mom got one for her birthday, so we have been playing with it. She made these coaster books for me. They are not embellished yet, cause I am not sure what I am using them for.

The paper is from Joann's (my aunt and mom went out shopping for their birthday and got tons of stuff, lol!!!), the inner pages are the white cardstock for PaperTrey. My mom was able to get all 4 of these out of one of the wire binding. I think it is the 1/2" wires.

I get to play with the Bind It All tomorrow after school, so I will show you how I embellished these and another project using the new toy.

Gift Card Holders

I am so sorry this is late.....

My aunt wanted me to make these for her to give at Christmas because she didn't have time to get to the project. I was really glad because these looked like alot of fun to do, and someone wanted me to make something for them to give to someone else. It is real exciting.

I used 3 PaperTrey stamp sets, "Holiday Treats", "Snowflake Serenade", and "Take A Bough". I put Making Memories Page Pebbles over the ornament. I also used Liquid Applique on part of the branches to make it look like snow. So pretty in real life.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.

Christmas Ornaments

I wanted to make some Christmas ornaments like Emily tried after we did the Pumpkin Place Setting.

I made them using 8 punches of the shape. I tried the square to make it look like a diamond and then the heart punch. I think the heart ornament turned out cute.

I am going to have to make more of these for our Christmas tree but using burgandy and white to match our Christmas tree colors. I will take a picture of the tree as soon as I get done with all of them to add to the tree.

O' Christmas Tree

Here is another project my Grandma found on SCS. The tutorial was done by Jenn Balcer, you can click here to see the full instructions. This was alot of fun to make.

I am not sure who makes the designer paper, the star is cut out using the Cricut on Stampin Up cardstock.

I will be making more of these for decorations around the house. My mom got me a taller foam tree, so that one is going to take me a little bit to do.

from Emily Giovanni. I was a happy crafter when I got home from school yesterday!

Emily had these sets for sale on her blog and my mom and I wanted a set. My mom ordered two sets, I got the one with the froggie on it, way to cute and my mom got the flower set.

But wait, there was an extra set in the box, hehehehe, with my initial on it!!!!!! Emily made me a special set and a wonderful card to go with it. I love it, they are so pretty and I get to use it for school stuff.

Ribbon Wreath

I am in a club for girls called "Creative Girls Club". I get 2 new kits every month. The projects are very fun and easy to do . This project is called "Ribbon Wreath". It is a foam wreath and I tied ribbons all around it. It was a very quick project. I think it will be nice to make them with Christmas ribbon. I hope you like it.

"Thinking of You" Card Set

I wanted to make card gift sets for those gifts that you need real quick.

I started with (2) 12'' x 12'' sheets of paper and I cut them down to 4'' x 4'' squares. You get 9 squares out of one 12" x 12" sheet. For the card base I used 8.5'' x 11'' sheets of Stampin Up Purely Pomegranate paper and cut it long ways.

I cut a piece of ribbon and wrapped it in the center of the 4'' x 4'' squares and used the new blue color stickles in the center of the ribbon. I used 2 different size scallop circle punches. I used the PaperTrey Borders & Corners Circles for the saying and the border of the big circle (even though you can not see it in the photo).

I stamped a flower on the front of the envelopes. The sets are of 9 cards with envelopes and are in a clear box from PaperTrey. The band around the box is left blank so that I can put the to and from when I know what they are for.

I hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend and I will see you tomorrow!!

I hope everyone is having a Happy Thanksgiving!!!! I wanted to show you a picture of the place settings that I made for the whole family. There are 16 total. They were a lot of fun making them. I took Emily's advice and made them fuller by using 6 orange ovals, instead of 4. I like how they turned out.
Thank you to eveyone for the well wishes. My mom had me stay in bed and rest for a coouple of days and lots of medicine so I am actually feeling back to myself.

"Tagged"

I was tagged by Monica & Jen, and I am just now getting around to doing them. I am going to do them both and then tag people.

For Monica's, here it is:

You have to use your middle name. At the end of your blog post and and how many letters you have in your middle name is how many you tag.

K- I love to do crafts.
R- I love to sing & dance.
Y- I like to perform in shows.
S- I like to spend time with my family.
T- I love to go shopping with my mom.
I- alot of people think I am older than I am
N- I LOVE peanut butter sandwiches
E- I love school alot

For Jen's, here it is:

So here are the rules for this tagging:

1. Link to the person that tagged you
2. Post 7 random/weird facts about yourself on your blog (cause we all want to know how weird you are!)
3. Tag 7 people at the end and link to their blog
4. Leave comments on each blog that you tag so that they know!

(1) If I have just a little bit of sugar, some times I can get really crazy.
(2) Some times I can't stop laughing.
(3) I am a grade ahead.
(4) Most of my friends are a year older than me.
(5) Sometimes I forget that I said something and then I repeat it
(6) I like to do things to make someone smile
(7) I like to do volunteer work

That's it!

Since there are 8 for the first tag and 7 for the second, I am going to put them together.

1. Lori
2. Heidi
3. Emily
4. Jenni
5. Jennifer
6. Cheryl
7. Kristine
8. Monica

This was so much fun, I hope to get to know more people!!!!!

I also was asked to do a Tutorial on the tea tins, I will try and get it up in the next few days!!!!

This was so much fun!!!!!!

"JoAnna's Jems" 11-8

**PLEASE NOTE*** I will leave this post at the top until I announce a winner. Please scroll down for new posts!!!!

It is "JoAnna's Jems" time!!!!!!

I can not believe that I have over 10,000 hits. THANK YOU to everyone that visits me everyday!!!!!!!

This "JoAnna's Jems" is going to be a little different. For this one you have to submit a project using coasters. I love coasters, they are so much fun to work with and you can create so many things with them.

The rules are easy, just make any type of project, but it has to have coasters somewhere on the project, you can make cards, alter ideas, anything you can think of.

Please leave a comment on this post with a link to your project or you can leave a comment and email me the photo of your project.

I will post the picture of the "JoAnna's Jems" later today or tomorrow. Trust me, you will not be disappointed!!!!

And now the deadline. Since my grandpa's birthday is November 16, I am going to make that the date, and it will give everyone time to get their project in.

Have fun, and I can not wait to see what everyone comes up with!!!!

Coaster Mini Books

Hello everyone!!!!!
First I wanted to say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE JASON"
Aren't these mini books sooooo cute?????? I saw them on Nichole's Blog and she made them for VSBN Challenge. As soon as I saw them, I HAD to try it. I left the front and inside blank, so that whoever gets them can personalize it. The only thing I did different was on the fronts, I made a pocket and you can pull out a sqaure tag out of it. Just a tiny idea I had :)
I have been tagged twice and they are two different tags. I will have both done tomorrow also.
I almost forgot..... I am so surprised and grateful for everyone that comments and visits my blog everyday. The counter just keeps going up and going up. So with all that, there will be another "JoAnna's Jems" happening starting tomorrow. Make sure you stop by to find out how to enter!!!!

Bella Card

Isn't she CUTE????

My mom finally had to buy some of the Bella's. I like this one alot. She helped me color her, since I am still learning how to use the watercolor pencils. It is something I will have to play around with. The saying says "Yummalicious". I like it since she has all the junk food around her, LOL!!!

I hope you can see the fuzzy purple ribbon. It is from Lorie & Kyler, from the post yesterday. I told you I HAD to use it right away!!!!

I am liking the ticket corner punch right now, so I did all the corners of the card, sentiment and Bella.

More to come tomorrow!!!!!

Blue Christmas

Today my mom was trying to figure out some ideas for our families Christmas cards. So I decided to sit down with her and figure out some of my own. My mom was working on a pink/white card and I thought I go with the light blue. It actually came out better than I thought. The card base is white and all the bottom corners are rounded. The blue cardstock I used white ink and embossed the snowflakes with white glitter embossing powder. The main image, I stamped the santa with blank stazon and then used watercolored crayons(which I got to use them before my mom, LOL!!) to add just a little color to him. The fuzzy parts of his robe I put stickles for some glitter and his mustache and beard is Ranger White Pearls. It actually has added texture to the beard and mustache so that is cool. The ribbon is see thru light blue with white dots from May Arts. All the stamps are from PaperTrey Ink.
I hope everyone has a great day!!!!!!

Have Your Cake and Eat it too!!!!!

We just got in the new Papertrey Ink stamp sets. I love the set "Piece of Cake", it has so many cute cakes and many different ways to use them. I wanted to try the Tri-fold card with the slice of cake. It worked perfect in the center of a scallop circle. I added some stickles to the layers of the cake and also the centers of the flowers.

I picked two new numbers from the first Blog Candy since I have not heard from the two ladies I said from yesterday.
The first new comment is number 32, and that is Brenda Waldner.
And the second winner is number 1, and that is Cheryl KVD.
Please email me your address so that I can get out your "JoAnna's Jems" to you!!!

Pokemon Frame Update

I wanted to show you the coolest thing.

I made a Pokemon Frame earlier this month out of some extra cards that I had. I received a comment from Lorie about how much her son loves Pokemon and would no way let her make a frame out of his cards. I decided to email Lorie and find out if I could mail her son the frame as a gift, and guess what, she said yes!!!! So of course I had to ask my mom if she could mail it for me and of course she did. I saw a comment from Lorie that it arrived and she would put a picture of her son with it on her blog and here it is. Isn't Kyler the cutest? I love it. I made him smile BIG!!!!! That is so cool. Thanks Lorie!!!!!

Kyler, I am so glad you like the frame!!!!!!

Hello, boy did my weekend get away from me. My Aunt, Uncle and cousins finally got here from their move from Alaska. They were at my house all day on Saturday. I had so much fun. Thank you to everyone about the words of encouragement about my grades. I think I will be ok, I just have one class that I have to talk to the teacher tomorrow, so we will see, but I am sure it will be ok. I just worry when grades come out, my mom likes them to be good and so do I.

Ok, enough about school...... I have to announce the winner.

The winner of "JoAnna's Jems" is comment number 12 and that would be resmith!!!!!!! Please email your address so that I can get out all these wonderful goodies.

For this give away, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post.

  2. 2.5" x 2.5" wood frame
