Quilts, Quilts & More Quilts

Hello to everyone!!! Today I decided to make this post a little quick today. I will be gone for a part of the day. I am in leadership at school and we do Community Service and today I get to do recycling at our cities "Spice of Life". Not really sure what it all means, but I get to locate the recyclable items that people throw away.

I wanted to show you a couple of quilts that I made. I made these the end of last year, but I wanted to show you a crafty post while I was away today. The first one was my very first BIG quilt. It ended up to be a little bigger than my twin size bed, so it is very comfy. The pattern in a Log Cain, but I think it looks more like hearts after it was put together. I never really quilted a big quilt, so my mom thought I should tie it together. I really like how it turned out and I had alot of fun with it.

The second one, is one that I made for my grandpa for his birthday. He loves ships and when I found this one in the quilt book, I know I had to try this one. It also is a Log Cabin, but after the blocks are arranged, it looks like a ship. This is where I decided to try and machine quilt it. Boy was that interesting. As long as you look at the front you can not tell where I messed up, LOL!!!! My grandpa really liked it.
I hope everyone has a good day and I will be back later today with a card.

Blog Candy is still going on, click here to enter.... "BLOG CANDY". All the ideas that you have left are great. This is going to be hard, I wonder if I can have more then one name for this, hehehehehe. Keep the comments coming, the more there are the more stuff I will be giving away!!
